Patents can be extended up to three years

Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs Boris Titov suggested introducing a number of exemptions for visa-free labor migrants in Russia. In particular, the Ombudsman proposes to reduce the term for issuing a patent for labor migrants from 10 to 5 days, and also to extend the term of patents from 1 year to 3 years.

According to Deputy Interior Minister Andrey Khrapov, the department agrees to the introduction of such changes, Kommersant reports.
