The first part of the meeting was dedicated to forecasts regarding the tightening of migration policies and changes in the procedure for hiring foreign labor: trends in rulemaking for 2026, what to expect, and how to prepare.
During the second part of the meeting, which covered practical aspects, Andrei Sprintchan delivered a presentation titled: "Visas for Installation Work: Stricter Requirements for the Document Package, Medical Examination, and Fingerprinting. New Regulations for Extending This Type of Visa within Russia."
In his speech, he thoroughly analyzed the key changes that occurred in 2026 in the procedure for obtaining visas for installation and supervisory installation work.
The audience was presented with:
• Upd ated requirements for the se t of documents: special attention was given to the wording in the equipment supply contract, confirmation of employee qualifications, and documents related to the equipment, including the customs declaration.
• Mandatory procedures: Andrei Sprintchan reminded attendees about the necessity of undergoing a medical examination and fingerprint registration for specialists planning to stay in Russia for more than 30 days, and also explained the risks and fines for non-compliance with these requirements.
• New extension regulations: particular attention was paid to the procedure for extending installation visas within Russia, which remains a complex issue due to the lack of clear regulations, requiring companies to be especially diligent when planning work schedules.
Participation in the event allowed representatives of international companies to receive up-to-date information first-hand, analyze complex cases, and ask experts questions about interacting with the Ministry of Internal Affairs under the current circumstances.
