According to the information published on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, citizens of Ukraine, the DPR and the LPR are allowed to apply to the migration authorities on the following issues without a compliance of their period of stay in Russia:
- migration registration at the place of stay;
- extension of the period of temporary stay on the territory of Russia;
- obtaining of residence permits.
These measures have been implemented due to the current situation in Ukraine, which does not let the citizens to return.
Administrative measures for violation of the terms of stay are not applied in this case.
In addition, citizens of Ukraine, the DPR and the LPR are allowed to apply for a temporary residence permit and a temporary residence permit with expired identity cards.
