According to the information received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Albania, the country has decided to cancel most of the measures and restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, starting from May 1, 2022.
Thus, the need for a vaccination certificate and a negative PCR test for COVID-19 upon entry is eliminated. Wearing masks becomes mandatory only indoors and in public transport, where social distancing is not possible.
The Albanian Daily News newspaper also reports that nightclubs will reopen and music in bars will be allowed (after 23:00).
Please note that the Consulate of Albania in the Russian Federation previously reported, that there is seasonal visa-free entry to Albania with a maximum stay in the country for 90 days for tourists-citizens of the Russian Federation from May 1 to September 30, 2022.
