On June 25, Andrey Sprinchan, CEO of Confidence Group, held a webinar titled "Paradigm Shift: How the 2026–2030 Migration Reform Is Changing the Rules of the Game for Business – From Patent Costs to Organized Recruitment." The event took place online and was devoted to key changes in the hiring and support of foreign workers over the next five years. More than 60 participants attended the event.
During the webinar, Andrey Sprinchan examined in detail the main guidelines of Russia's migration policy for 2026–2030, the mechanisms for transitioning from conceptual provisions to legislative initiatives, and the practical consequences of the upcoming changes for companies that employ foreign labor.
Special attention was paid to innovations in the procedure for registering foreign workers, including changes related to patents, standard work permits, highly qualified specialists, temporary residence permits, and permanent residence permits. Issues such as the increase in the salary threshold for HQS workers, new requirements for employers, specifics of document processing for certain categories of foreign nationals, as well as challenges related to foreigners starting businesses in Russia were also addressed.
The webinar also covered the operations of private employment agencies, new requirements for document processing when performing installation work, and the prospects for introducing organized recruitment of foreign workers starting in 2027.
At the end of the webinar, Andrey Sprinchan presented practical recommendations for businesses aimed at reducing migration risks, adapting internal processes to the new requirements, and building a sustainable system for supporting foreign labor.
Participation in the webinar allowed employers to gain an expert overview of the upcoming changes, assess potential risks for their companies, and identify possible preparation measures for the new phase of migration regulation.
