Starting from May 15, 2017, flights between Russia and Belarus will be transferred to international sectors of Russian airports. It was reported by the Grigory Rapota, General Secretary of the Union State of Russia and Belarus.
According to him, the citizens of Russia and Belarus will not undergo border control, they will be able to cross the border with internal passports. At the same time, border control will be carried out by passengers who are not citizens of these two countries. Russian and Belarusian citizens will not undergo border control, but starting from May 15, 2017 they will have to save and present a boarding pass issued at the airports of Belarus.
As previously reported, Belarus introduced a five-day visa-free regime for 80 countries.
Russia concerns it as a threat, because the visa-free regime of Belarus with 80 countries can facilitate the inception of dangerous persons into Russia through Belarus, for example, illegal refugees, criminals.
