The Consulate General of Finland announced the abolition of all coronavirus restrictions for Russian citizens from July 1, 2022. It is also reported that an application for a visa can be submitted at the visa centers, but by appointment. Citizens arriving in Finland no longer have to present a vaccination certificate or coronavirus test results.
Also, visa applications will again be processed in the usual manner in accordance with the EU Visa Code.
However, please note that the provisions of the Order of the Government of Russia of March 27, 2020 N 763-r on the restriction of transport communication through land checkpoints, as we wrote earlier, continue to operate, therefore, crossing the border with Finland without the grounds specified in the Order is possible only I pass through air and sea points.
