On March 27, 2019 the head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Aisen Nikolaev, signed a decree establishing a ban on attracting foreign workers by economic entities in 2019.
There is a ban on 33 types of economic activity in the sphere of agriculture, forestry, hunting, manufacturing, construction, trade, transportation, hotel, real estate, scientific and technical activities, as well as in education, health care and provision of social services.
