The Governor of the Kamchatka Territory signed Decree No. 144 dated October 1, 2021, which prohibits employers engaged in the following types of economic activity from attracting foreign workers on the basis of patents.

This decree came into force on October 19, 2021. The economic entity had to fulfill this requirement before January 1, 2022.
Please note that this also applies to those companies that indicated the types of activities listed in the Decree as additional (such a position follows from the previously provided clarifications of the Ministry of Labor and is supported by the position of the Supreme Court dated January 14, 2016 No. AKPI15-1315).
In addition, we remind you that until January 1, 2022, companies had to bring the number of foreign employees in accordance with the Decree of the Government of Russia. Read more in our news.
