Also, the requirement for Russian citizens to take PCR within 3 days after arriving in Russia fr om abroad and to observe isolation until a negative result is obtained, as well as the obligation of the employer to ensure that employees who have arrived from abroad are informed of the need to undergo such testing.
However, the requirement to fill out an arrival questionnaire for foreign citizens and stateless persons still remains. Russian citizens arriving in the country through air and sea checkpoints will fill out a form on the Gosuslugi.ru website.
The resolution also retains the right to conduct random testing for COVID-19 at checkpoints across the state border of Russia of Russian citizens, foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving in Russia (previously this requirement applied only to airports, but now all checkpoints). According to epidemiological indications, continuous testing of arrivals from countries wh ere a deterioration in the epidemiological situation has been noted can be carried out.
The decision to cancel the PCR was published on the legal information portal on October 20, 2022, and entered into force the day after the official publication, i.e. October 21, 2022
