On July 2016 the graft law on administrative responsibility for violation by the foreign citizen or stateless person of the rules of entry or the regime of stay in Russia, was introduced into the State Duma.
It is proposed to add to the article 18.8 of the Administrative Code the Part 5, providing for the mandatory additional punishment in the form of administrative expulsion from Russia for repeated administrative offense, committed by the foreign citizen or stales person within one year.
"The draft law is proposed to provide the possibility of the refusal at the judge's discretion of an additional punishment in the form of administrative expulsion from Russia for violation of the rules of entry or the regime of stay in Russia, committed in Moscow, St. Petersburg, in Moscow and Leningrad regions , "- the government website says.
