Starting from May 15, the migration registration in the Moscow region will be performed by the territorial bodies of the Federal Migration Service only.
Moreover, the FMS of the Moscow region refuses to register foreign citizens, if there is no information on the organization address, where the employer works, in the Federal Information Address System - FIAS.
It should be noted that the Letter of the Federal Tax Service of Russia as of 22.08.2014 "On the federal targeted information system" states that the refusal of the FTS authorities in providing public services if there are no addresses in the FIAS, is impossible. However, the FMS of the Moscow region confirms its position.
