According to the information received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, following the decision taken by the leadership of the states of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, the Czech Republic and Belgium, the work of the General Consulates of Russia in Daugavpils and Liepaja (Latvia), Klaipeda (Lithuania), Brno and Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic) has been stopped.
In addition, the General Consulate of Russia in Narva and the office of the Russian Embassy in Tartu have been closed in Estonia.
Also, the work of the General Consulate of Russia in Antwerp (Belgium) has been suspended.
Thus, now it is possible to obtain Russian visas in these countries only in the Embassies of Russia. In Latvia, this can be done in Riga, in Lithuania – in Vilnius, in Estonia – in Tallinn, in the Czech Republic – in Prague, in Belgium – in Brussels.
We draw your attention to the fact that Russian diplomatic missions will continue to accept previously issued invitations for entering the Russian Federation (as a basis for issuing visas) in which Daugavpils and Liepaja (Latvia), Klaipeda (Lithuania), Brno and Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic), Narva and Tartu (Estonia) or Antwerp (Belgium) are indicated.
