On February 19, 2016 the Order of the FMS of Russia as of 30.12.2015 N 574, amending the Administrative Regulations of the FMS of Russia on the issuance of permits to hire foreign workers and work permits for foreign citizens and persons without citizenship, comes into force.
The Order approves the procedure of applying to FMS on the issuance of permits to hire foreign workers and work permits from the following applicants:
- the management company International Medical Cluster in Moscow;
- employers - residents of the free port of Vladivostok;
- sports organizations in Russia, which are not Russian commercial legal entities;
- all-Russian sports federations in the case of hire of highly qualified specialists.
The Order approves the procedure of work permit correction (if the name, the identity document details, profession (specialty, position, type of employment) were changed). Those corrections may be done by printing a work permit on a new form. State fee is not charged.
One of the most interesting innovations is the changing of a period of validity of the identity document of highly qualified specialist or foreign citizens hiring for work in a foreign commercial organization in Russia. Now, this term shall end not earlier than one (not three) years from the date of filing an application for a work permit.
