Following the news of December 13, 2019 on the establishment of the amount of advance payments for patents for foreign citizens for 2020, the Confidence Group company informs that from January 27, 2020, the amount of advance payments for patents for foreign citizens for 2020 will again change for all subjects of the Russian Federation.
On December 10, 2019, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation amended the previously issued decree No. 684 of October 21, 2019 "on setting deflator coefficients for 2020", which reduced the deflator coefficients for 2020.
According to this Order, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation established the size of the deflator coefficients for 2020 in the amount of 1,810 instead of 1,813, established earlier in 2020.
Regional deflator coefficients have already been approved in the regions of the Russian Federation (the Federal coefficient value previously approved by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation was used as the basis for calculating them). In accordance with this, the cost of the patent for 2020 has already been determined.
The “cost” of a patent is calculated by the formula: FAP x KD1 x KD2, where FAP = 1200 rubles, KD1 is the deflator coefficient set for the entire territory of the Russian Federation, KD2 is the regional coefficient.
The order came into force on January 27 and from this date there are 2 possible scenarios:
- The management of the subjects will not change the deflator coefficients previously approved by regional laws and the "cost" of the patent will decrease slightly from 27.01.2020 (the date of entry into force of the Order).
- The management of the subjects will change the amount of the deflator coefficient, adjusting it to the current "tariffs".
