The government of the Moscow region plans to move the Unified Migration Center from the village of Putilkovo to Sakharovo by the end of 2021, a similar center controlled by the Moscow authorities.
The work of the joint center will be carried out on the basis of an agreement, while no new buildings will be built in the already existing center.
The head of the Department of Economic Policy and Development of Moscow, Kirill Purtov, confirmed this information and added that “we are calculating the throughput and we see that there is such an opportunity. The center was built for a large flow of services for migrants. There will be no significant additional load due to the move. "
