How to check a foreign citizen's documents on Gosuslugi portal

There is a service on the Unified Portal of State Services (Gosuslugi) with which an employer can check the validity of a foreign citizen's documents before hiring him.

The service allows to check the validity of the following documents:

• temporary residence permit;
• residence permit;
• work permit;
• patent.

To do this, the employer company must have a personal account on Gosuslugi.

However, please note that the data may be displayed incorrectly due to untimely database updates.
