On December 04, 2016, the Order of the Ministry of Labor of Russia as of 15.11.2016 N 651n, correcting the quota for issuing invitations of foreign citizens to enter Russia for employment and work permits, came into force.
The number of quotas for the issuance of invitations of foreign citizens to enter Russia for work in all federal districts has been reduced, however, the quota has been increased in some regions of Russia.
- In Moscow the quota was increased from 14603 to 14637.
- In the Moscow region the quota was increased from 12478 to 12578.
- In St. Petersburg the quota was increased from 17583 to 18018.
- In the Leningrad region the quota was reduced from 5938 to 3278.
- In the Kaluga region the quota was reduced from 2736 to 2289.
The number of quotas for the issuance of work permits of foreign citizens in all federal districts has been reduced, but in some regions of Russia (including Moscow and St. Petersburg), the quota was increased.
- In the Central Federal District the quota was reduced from 38804 to 38715.
- In the Kaluga region the quota was reduced from 2736 to 2289.
- In the Moscow region the quota was reduced from 12478 to 12578.
- In Moscow the quota was increased 14603 to 14637 work permits.
- In the North-West Federal District the quota was reduced from 26660 to 24336.
- In the Leningrad region the quota was reduced from 5938 to 3278.
- In St. Petersburg, the quota was increased from 17583 to 18018.
- In the Southern Federal District, the quota was reduced from 10132 to 7692.
- In the North Caucasus Federal District, the quota was reduced from 1196 to 1160.
- In the Volga Federal District the quota was reduced from 15768 to 14637.
- In the Urals Federal District the quota was reduced from 22400 to 20599.
- In the Siberian Federal District the quota was reduced from 29404 to 26365.
- In the Far Eastern Federal District the quota was reduced from 49325 to 48287.
- Reserve of the Russian quota was increased from 20190 to 32138.
