On October 12, 2016, the order of the Ministry of Labor of Russia increased the quota for foreign citizens for the issuance of work permits and invitations to enter Russia for work in 2016.
In the Moscow region the quota was increased from 11127 to 12478.
In Moscow the quota was increased from 14081 to 14603.
In the Leningrad region quota was increased from 5868 to 5938.
In the Kaluga region the quota was reduced from 2868 to 2736.
Changes were introduced for some other Russian regions as well.
