On January 25, 2019, the Order of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia as of November 7, 2018 N 21710 will come into force, approving new recommended samples of a petition for issuing an invitation to enter the Russian Federation for a foreign citizen, for decision to enter Russia and of decision on issuing a visa to enter Russia.
It was clarified that the decision to issue a visa is made by the head of the Consular Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the petitions of applicants.
