Russian citizens leave Russia for the education mainly in Germany (9,480 people in 2015) and in the USA (4885 people in 2015).
In turn, people coming for the education in Russian are mostly from the CIS countries. Most students come to Russia from Kazakhstan (49252 people in 2015) and Belarus (24880 people in 2015). Besides the citizens of CIS countries, many Chinese citizens (7954 people in 2015) come to Russia for the education.
