The number of quotas for issuing work permits has been changed in almost all regions of Russia, both decreasing and increasing. In particular, in a number of regions the number of quotas was changed as follows:
- in the Central Federal District increased from 28,435 to 30,787,
- in the Moscow region increased from 11,730 to 14,799,
- in the Leningrad region increased from 8599 to 8612,
for Moscow reduced from 4219 to 3811,
- for St. Petersburg reduced from 3545 to 2939,
- for the Northwestern Federal District reduced from 15,136 to 14,177.
Also, the distribution of quotas for issuing visa invitations to foreign citizens to enter Russia for the purpose of carrying out work activities was changed accordingly.
