On April 14, 2019, the Order of the Ministry of Labor of Russia N 148n, changing the distribution by regions of quotas for issuing work permits and entry invitations to visa foreign citizens, came into force.
The number of work permits was increased due to the reserve in the Central Federal district from 18192 to 21777, in Moscow - from 5613 to 6155, in Moscow region - from 4560 to 6139, in the North-West Federal district - from 8869 to 12001, in St. Petersburg - from 5125 to 7403, in Leningrad region - from 1025 to 1839.
It also clarified the distribution of quotas for issuing work permits by qualification groups for visa foreign citizens and distribution of quotas for issuing entry invitations for visa foreign citizens for work in Russia.
