The number of quotas for issuing work permits has been increased in almost all regions of Russia, significantly in many regions. In particular, in a number of regions the number of quotas was changed as follows:
- in the Central Federal District increased from 27,057 to 33,770,
- in the Moscow region increased from 11,250 to 15,041,
- in the Leningrad region increased from 15,196 to 17,585,
- in Moscow increased from 3255 to 5181,
- for St. Petersburg increased from 2408 to 3488,
- for the Northwestern Federal District increased from 22,387 to 26,067.
Also, the distribution of quotas for issuing visa invitations to foreign citizens to enter Russia for the purpose of carrying out work activities was changed accordingly.
