The Ministry of Health of Russia has published clarifications regarding the validity of medical documents for foreign citizens. According to these clarifications, the validity of the certificate and medical reports, set at three months, are the terms of their validity for presentation to the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, but at the same time, the validity of such medical documents will be 12 calendar months from the date of their issue and undergo a medical examination every 3 months is not necessary.
At the same time, no changes have been made to the order of the Ministry of Health of Russia dated November 19, 2021 No. 1079n, which comes into force on March 1, 2022. The Ministry of Health of Russia has just published a draft of its order, which plans to make such changes to the new procedure for conducting a medical examination.
At the same time, the procedure approved by the order of the Ministry of Health of Russia of June 29, 2015 No. 384n is currently in force, which also assumes that the certificate and medical report are valid for three months from the date of their issue without any clarifications. No changes have been made to this section.
Given the above, before the entry into force of the new order of the Ministry of Health of Russia of November 19, 2021 No. 1079n, namely until March 1, 2022, established by the old order of the Ministry of Health of Russia of June 29, 2015 No. 384n, the validity of medical documents is only three month, which entails the need to re-pass a medical examination after the expiration of this period.
