On October 24, 2016 the Multifunctional migration Center in Sakharovo (MMC) started sending SMS messages to those foreign citizens, who are not included in the database of the Department of Migration issues of the Ministry of Interior affairs in Moscow with the information on the payment of the patent.
As a rule, there is no information on the patent payment, if the foreign citizen incorrectly filled out a receipt: incorrect individual tax number or mistake in filling of other details. In this case, the foreign citizen is invited to come to the MMC with receipts. Employees of the center will find payments according to the receipt in the database and include information about them into the system.
If the foreign citizen does not apply to the MMC within 30 days from the date of the corresponding SMS notifications and at the same time, there are no other grounds for further stay in Russia, the presence on the territory of Russia is illegal.
