The following values have been established for 2024:
- per capita – 22,662 rubles;
- for the working population – 25,879 rubles;
- for pensioners – 16,964 rubles;
- for children – 19,586 rubles.
The resolution comes into force on January 1, 2024.
These sums are important for processes related to the acquisition of a residence permit, as well as for submitting annual notifications of residence under a temporary residence permit/residence permit.
When applying for a residence permit, a foreign citizen must also provide a document confirming the foreign citizen’s ability to support himself and his family members in Russia and within the subsistence level, without resorting to state assistance (with the exception of foreign citizens recognized as disabled)
Also, foreign citizens who have a temporary residence permit and residence permit in Russia must comply with the requirements for the minimum subsistence level when submitting annual notifications, since the lack of minimum means of subsistence is a legal basis for the cancellation of a residence permit (paragraph two, paragraph 8, clause 1, article 7, art. 9 Federal Law dated July 25, 2002 N 115-FZ “On the legal status of foreign citizens in Russia”).
