- Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia dated November 23, 2023 No. 892 “On amending paragraph 1 of Appendix No. 4 to Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia dated September 14, 2020 No. 641 “On approval of the form of notification of the departure of a foreign citizen or stateless person from the place of stay”
- Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia dated November 24, 2023 No. 906 “On amendments to the Procedure for submitting materials indicating the existence of circumstances that are the basis for making (cancelling) a decision on the undesirability of the stay (residence) of a foreign citizen or stateless person in Russia"
- Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia dated November 24, 2023 No. 905 “On approval of forms of decisions on the cancellation of temporary residence permits, temporary residence permits and temporary residence permits in Russia”
- Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia dated November 23, 2023 No. 890 “On amendments to the Procedure for the deportation of foreign citizens and stateless persons”
- Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia dated November 23, 2023 No. 891 “On approval of the form and description of the temporary identity card form for a stateless person in Russia”
- Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia dated November 21, 2023 No. 882 “On amendments to the Administrative Regulations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on the implementation of federal state control (supervision) in the field of migration”
These orders vest the Central Military Commission of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, along with the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, with the following powers:
- receiving notifications about the departure of a foreign citizen from the place of stay
- preparation and submission to the central office of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs of materials for making decisions on the undesirability of the presence of foreign citizen in Russia
- making decisions on the cancellation of temporary residence permits and residence permits in Russia (+ corresponding changes in decision forms)
- making a decision on deportation
- issuance of a temporary identity card for a stateless person
- functions of control and supervision in the field of migration
We remind you that the Centers for Migration Issues of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is a new structure within the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, it was established in the summer of 2023, and it is planned to transfer a number of functions and powers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia to it (more details in our news).
Please note that in all of the listed documents, the powers specified in them remain with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Central Computer Department is added to the number of organizations performing these functions.
All of the above orders take effect on January 6, 2024.
