The Ministry of Internal Affairs plans to extend the period of stay of foreign citizens in Russia during the coronavirus pandemic until next summer. According to information from TASS, this was announced by the Deputy Head of the Main Directorate for Migration Issues of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Kirill Adzinov at a meeting in the Federation Council.
"Now we are working with the administration regarding further prolongation of these measures. Apparently, they will be extended until next summer," - he said.
According to his words, foreigners, who are located on the territory of Russia, should be able to find employment. "People who have come to Russia for any purpose and have not been able to return back, who have been here for a long time, must somehow get the opportunity to exist. They will carry out labor activities in any case," - Adzinov added.
