The Ministry of Internal Affairs has prepared a draft Order approving the form of notification of removal from migration registration.
The form was introduced within the new regulation of removal from registration procedure adopted in the Federal Law No. 257-FZ "On Amendments to Articles 8 and 23 of Federal Law No. 109-FZ "On migration registration of foreign citizens in Russia", signed by President of Russia on July 29, 2018.
Receiving party makes its decision on basis of objective information about location of a foreign citizen, and the authorized body takes measures to determine the foreign citizen’s actual location.
Sending of a notice about departure of a foreign citizen or stateless person from place of stay to migration registration authority is the right of receiving party, but not the obligation.
