The Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified and posted the procedure for passing dactyloscopy and photographing in accordance with the amendments to the Federal Law "On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in Russia" No. 115 dated 25.07.2002, which come into force on 29.12.2021.
Unfortunately, the published procedure does not clarify the upcoming changes. Please get acquainted with the most important conclusions from procedure:
- after the advent of fingerprinting and photographing, the territorial Ministry of Internal Affairs is issued a laminated form (card) with a photograph and the owner's identification data;
- fingerprinting procedure and photographing is carried out once without paying state fees and regardless of the number of entries / exits from the Russian Federation;
- it will be possible to undergo dactyloscopy in: subdivisions on migration issues of the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia; FSUE "PVS" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the subjects of Russia which we have listed in our news; The main budgetary institution of the city of Moscow "Multifunctional Migration Center";
- foreign citizens who entered the territory of Russia before 29.12.2021 can undergo fingerprinting either at the next entry into the Russian Federation, or in advance - without waiting for re-entry.
