The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, in its response to the appeal of citizens, explained that all minor foreign citizens over 6 years old, in respect of whom an application for admission to the citizenship of Russia is submitted, are subject to compulsory fingerprinting registration.
At the same time, fingerprinting is carried out in the migration departments of the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the place of residence when the child's birth certificate is stamped on the presence of Russian citizenship.
