The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has developed a draft of a new version of the Federal Law “On Asylum on the Territory of Russia”, which proposes to make a number of significant changes, for example, only one general application is required for both refugee status and temporary asylum.
Making such changes will significantly reduce the time for consideration of cases and help to resolve the status of such foreign citizens faster.
