On January 1, 2018, the Order of the Russian Internal Ministry as of November 23, 2017 N 881, which approves the Administrative Regulations for migration registration of foreign citizens in Russia, will come into force.
Provision of this state service is carried out by units on migration issues of territorial bodies of the Russian Internal Ministry at the regional and district levels. Previously, these functions were performed by the FMS of Russia. No other significant changes were introduced.
New forms have been approved:
- notification of arrival of a foreign citizen in the place of stay (pdf-file, xls-file);
- application for registration of a foreign citizen at the place of residence;
- notes on registration of a foreign citizen at the place of residence;
- notes on confirmation of the fulfillment by the host country and the foreign citizen of the actions necessary for its registration at the place of stay.
