On November 1, 2017, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia adopted Order No. 828 "On approval of the procedure for a patent decision issuing on the territory of a region of Russia.
This procedure is adopted in place of the same FMS procedure. There are no significant changes. The basis for adoption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is a motivated proposal of federal executive bodies or the highest official of the subject of the Russian Federation. These motivated proposals are considered by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, after which an appropriate decision is made.
