On November 12, 2017, the Order of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) as of September 21, 2017 N 735 on the approval of the Administrative Regulations of the Russian MIA on provision of state services on registration and issuance of invitations for foreign citizens to enter Russia will come into force.
The Administrative Regulations of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs replaces the previous similar Administrative Regulations of the Federal Migration Service. Immediate provision of public services is provided by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the migration branches of territorial bodies of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. The terms of submission of documents and the circle of applicants have been retained. No significant changes were made.
A new form of the application for issuing an invitation to enter Russia, a recommended sample of a letter of guarantee for a legal entity and recommended samples of a number of other documents have been approved.
