Namely:
1) On August 21, 2024, a draft law was submitted to prohibit the acquisition of certain types of weapons by persons who have had Russian citizenship for less than 5 years and 10 years, respectively.
2) On August 22, 2024, a draft law was submitted to expand the list of crimes that entail the termination of Russian citizenship. It is intended to add a long list of articles of the Criminal Code of Russia to the list of such crimes, including crimes against sexual inviolability, illegal acquisition and storage of weapons, the creation of non-profit organizations that infringe on the personality and rights of citizens and participation in them, etc.
3) On August 26, 2024, a draft law was introduced proposing to introduce mandatory decision-making on the undesirability of stay (residence) in Russia of a foreign citizen who has committed any crime in Russia or any other state, with the exception of persons convicted on the basis of race, religion, citizenship, nationality, membership in a certain social group or political beliefs.
