The Subcommittee of the Government of Russia on the Control of Foreign Investments decided to allow foreign citizens from unfriendly countries to buy real estate from citizens of Russia.
In addition, Russians are also allowed to buy real estate from foreigners, but the funds for such transactions will have to be credited to a type “C” account in the manner determined by Decree of the President of Russia No. 95 dated March 5, 2022.
The list of foreign states and territories that commit unfriendly actions against Russia, Russian legal entities and individuals was approved by order of the Government of Russia dated 05.03.2022 No. 430-r.
