In July 2017 the Department of Internal Affairs of Moscow region has changed requirements for temporary residence permits applications.
The new requirements apply to those foreign nationals, who do not have appartment in ownership (spouse does not have appartment in ownership) or officially registered lease contract.
The officials still demand from applicants for temporary residence permit the documents confirming their legal stay in the apartment registered in Moscow.
These can be one of the following documents:
1. For foreign nationals who are owners of the apartments:
a. state registration certificate of the ownership of the apartment;
b. statement from Uniform State Registration Number;
c. contract of sale, gift contract, which were concluded before 1 March 2013 and should be registered by Rosreestr.
2. For foreign nationals who are not owners of appartments:
a. lease agreement or sublease agreement;
b. rent agreement or subrent agreement:
c. contract of gratuitous use.
Please note that the period of validity of the above-mentioned documents should be not less than 3 years.
