Starting from January 01, 2014, the new National Classification of Economic Activities (OKVED2) entered into force. Please consider that before December 31, 2016, both old OKVED Rev. 1 and new OKVED Rev. 2 had a legal force together, but starting from January 01, 2017 the old version OKVED Rev. 1 is terminated.
In a view of the above, representative offices and branches of foreign companies are strongly recommended to send in 2017 to the tax authority an application to amend OKVED in accordance with the new version.
