Starting from February 3, 2019 the new uniform rates of fees when applying for a Russian visa are set for foreign citizens and stateless persons around the world
On February 3, 2019, Order No. 24320 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation of December 17, 2018 “On Approval of the Unified Methodology for Calculation of Fee Rates for Compensation of Actual Expenses Related to Consular Actions” comes into force.
This order establishes new rates of consular fees at consular offices of the Russian Federation when a Russian visa is issued abroad by foreign citizens and stateless persons.
Now a foreign citizen or a stateless person pays a consular fee for obtaining a Russian visa in the amount of:
- single entry visa – 80 $;
- double-entry visa – 128 $;
- multiple entry visa – 240 $.
For urgent issuance of visas double rate is charged accordingly.
Foreign citizens of countries that have entered into international agreements with the Russian Federation (EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Japan, and the People's Republic of China), which establish special rates of visa fees - pay the visa fee in the amount specified in these agreements.
