In the current circumstances of the persistence of the risks of the spread of a new coronavirus infection in accordance with MR 3.1 / 2.1.0205-20 "Recommendations for the prevention of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in educational institutions of higher education" (amendment No. 2 of 11.02.2021) foreign students arriving from states with which air traffic has already been resumed, are examined for COVID-19 using the PCR method twice - not earlier than three calendar days before arriving in the Russian Federation and within 72 hours after entering the Russian Federation.
Medical certificates confirming a negative laboratory test of the material for COVID-19 by the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method, must be obtained before and after entering the territory of the Russian Federation, and can be provided in Russian or English.
Until the results of laboratory tests for COVID-19 by the PCR method are obtained after arrival at the territory of the Russian Federation, the isolation regime must be observed.
Thus, foreign students are allowed to the educational process only if there are two negative results of the COVID-19 test using the PCR method.
