Confidence Group informs that according to new orders, the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moscow (Pokrovka str., 42) begins accepting invitations for accompanying family members of highly qualified specialists (HQS) without the procedure for entering into the lists of relevant ministries.
The main condition is that the country of citizenship, or residence must be in the list of allowed to enter the Russian Federation countries (below):
- United Kingdom
- Tanzania
- Turkey
- Switzerland
- Egypt
- Maldives
- United Arab Emirates
- Cuba
- Japan
- Serbia
Documents for accompanying family members of the HQS can only be submitted together with documents for HQS, or if the HQS has a visa. It is also necessary to be prepared that the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moscow requests additional documents.
Questions often arise as to why the Ministry of Internal Affairs does not accept documents for citizens (persons with a residence permit) of the countries specified in the annex to the order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated March 16, 2020 No. 635-р.
Confidence Group published its interpretation of this situation in the previous news (please find the full list of countries in the actual annex). Also Confidence Group sent clarifying requests to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to which no response has yet been received.
