In general, the number of quotas was reduced by more than 20% (a total of 10,595 in Russia, while in 2023 there were 13,535). At the same time, for the first time, quotas were also distributed to new regions of Russia - the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
Quotas were distributed as follows:
- total in Russia - 10,595
- Central Federal District - total 3610 (was 4550)
- Moscow - 1500
- Moscow region - 750 (was 1250)
- St. Petersburg - 300 (was 400)
- Leningrad region - 125
- Zaporozhye region - 500
- Kherson region - 100
- LPR - 65
- DPR - 55
