Confidence Group reports on the answer received from the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, which clarifies the specifics of obtaining education by foreign citizens in Russia.
In a request sent to the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, we asked whether a foreign citizen who arrived in Russia from the country with a visa regime is eligible to get a full-time or correspondence education in Russia based on the HQS work permit or a procedure for obtaining permit for foreign labor hire.
We received the following answer from the Russian Ministry of Education and Science: in case a foreign citizen is staying in Russia on the basis of the work visa, this foreign citizen may be educated in educational organization on the territory of the RF without the processing the established order of changing the purpose of entry of this foreign citizen into the RF.
