The Russian Government has adopted a resolution approving list of employers, commissioners of works (consisting of 53 companies) that are not banned to employ Turkish citizens starting from the January 1, 2016
The text of the Resolution was prepared by the Ministry of Labor in order to implement the Decree of Russian President as of November 28, 2015 №583 «On measures to ensure the national security of Russia and the protection of Russian citizens from criminal and other illegal activities and the use of special economic measures against the Republic of Turkey».
The list is formed taking into account the proposals of federal executive bodies and executive bodies of RF territorial entities.
The list includes 53 companies and organizations located in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Crimea, Tatarstan, Krasnodar, Vladimir, Kaluga, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara and Tyumen regions, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.
These organizations work in the fields of construction, car industry, building materials, plastic pipes and fittings, sanitary ware, flooring.
The "Kommersant" reports that the list includes Enka, which reconstructed the building of the State Duma, Renaissance Construction, built the St. Petersburg office of "Gazprom", Odak Group, built the Kul-Sharif Mosque in Kazan.
One of the federal officials reported to the "Kommersant" that there is such companies as Enka, IC Ictas, Renaissance Construction, Ant Yapi, and a number of companies working not only in Moscow and Moscow region, but in other regions, including Mebe and Odak Group. Another source of "Kommersant" in the government claims that these companies will leave Russia when they finish their contracts.
The decision will allow the employers included in the list, starting from the January 1, 2016 to hire Turkish citizens, while maintaining the maximum number of people working in the organization as at December 31, 2015.
