Сonfidence Group has prepared and published two official petitions to eliminate conflicts in immigration law.
The first petition is aimed at eliminating uncertainty regarding the procedure for calculating the 6-month period of stay outside Russia as a basis for canceling a work permit for foreign employees. The need for clarification is due to the fact that at present none of the legal acts explain whether this period is calculated in total or in a row, within one year or during some other period, for example, the validity of a work permit.

The second petition is aimed at solving problems related to contradictions in the current legislation regarding the involvement of foreign workers from visa countries and foreign highly qualified specialists for remote work in Russia if they work outside the regions where the employer is located. At the moment, in practice, permits are issued only in regions where the employer has branches, representative offices or separate subdivisions, but at the same time, the current norms N 115-FZ "On the legal status of foreign citizens in Russia" prohibit foreign citizens from working outside the region where he or she has a work permit or a patent, there is no exception for remote workers in this rule.
