We remind you that Decree No. 702 "On the provision of humanitarian support to persons who share traditional Russian spiritual and moral values" introduced the procedure for obtaining a single-entry ordinary private visa for up to 3 months. It was assumed that to obtain such a visa, an application from a foreign citizen to the Russian consul was required about the rejection of the policy implemented by the state of citizenship, imposing ideological attitudes that contradict traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, as well as the inculcation of destructive ideas and values.
A form for this application has now been developed. The application must contain the applicant's last name, first name, date of birth, gender, passport number, address of residence, information about the applicant's work activity, the place of his intended resettlement (subject of Russia, locality), information about minor children traveling with him or her.
At the stage of submitting documents for a visa, some Consulates request the provision of a certificate of the presence/absence of a criminal record from the competent authorities of the country of citizenship and permanent residence, legalized in accordance with the Hague Convention of 1961 with an apostille, or having undergone the procedure of consular legalization in the consular office of Russia. Documents executed in a foreign language must be translated into Russian with notarization.
Confidence Group company draws special attention to the fact that a certificate of presence/absence of a criminal record is valid only for 3 months from the date of issue. Moreover, the processing period for these certificates takes about 2-3 months in some countries. This certificate is also required directly when submitting documents for a temporary residence permit in Russia, which means that the applicant will need to issue this certificate in 2 copies. We strongly recommend that you check with the Consulates in advance about the need to provide this certificate for obtaining a visa, and also monitor its validity period.
In addition, the Consulates have the right to request additional documents, such as confirmation from the place of work, marriage/birth certificate, ticket purchase guarantee, and others.
For detailed information on visa processing for persons sharing traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, we recommend contacting the Russian Consulates located in the countries of citizenship of the applicants.
