According to the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia of July 30, 2021 No. 581 "On Amendments to the Procedure for Making a Decision on the Extension or Reduction of the Period of Temporary Stay of a Foreign Citizen or Stateless Person in Russia, approved by Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia No. 933 of December 18, 2017" the extension of the period of temporary stay is submitted to the migration department of MVD of Russia at the place of stay of a foreign citizen or at the location of an educational organisation.
- federal state educational organisations where this person is studying at the preparatory department / under the additional program;
- educational organisations where such a foreign citizen is studying under the program of secondary special / higher education;
- established organisations included in the list established by the Government of the Russia;
- educational organisations to which a foreign citizen is accepted or transferred for education.
