In accordance with these changes, foreign citizens temporarily staying in Russia can be registered at the place of stay for the period stated in the notification of arrival, but for no more than one year.
The previously effective rule, according to which registration at the place of residence of a foreign citizen temporarily staying in Russia, working under a patent, is carried out for a period of 1 year from the date of issuance of the patent to such foreign citizen, will no longer be in effect.
